Pricing

Each Trytracker compensation varies depending on its role, experience and ranking.
For musicians, these are the prices per accepted track.
The producers/engineers compensation is calculated as percentage of the total earned by all the musicians (that payment is not deduced from the musicians earnings).

How Payments Work

Note that a gig owner has the option to create his first gig as a free one, in which Trytrackers agree to participate for free. On the other hand, Trytrackers have the option to waive their fees when applying to a non-free Gig. The following instructions apply for non-free gigs.

Prepayments

After the recruitment phase and before the gig really starts, the gig owner has to prepay each musician for one track, and the producer for the corresponding percentage for these prepaid tracks.
Only after this payment has been received will the gig proceed into the jamming phase.

Cycle payments

A gig cycle lasts 30 days. At the end of each cycle, the owner is asked to pay for the tracks that his musicians submitted and he accepted during this period. Any prepaid amount will be discounted of course.

Final payments

When the gig owner decides to finish the project he will be prompted to make a final payment, corresponding to the tracks that his musicians submitted and he accepted since the last cycle payment, or since the gig started if it lasted less than 30 days.

Disbursements to musicians and TryTracks fee

TryTracks will withhold the payments made by the gig owner until the end of the gig.
Once the gig has finished, each musician and producer will receive the total amount of payments according to the Payment Info instructions in each user's profile.
TryTracks will deduce a 20% fee for these payments. Also note users may incur in extra payment fees depending on the chosen payment method. For international payments, the exchange rate applied is chosen by the payments processor.
